What's New on the Website

Changes/updates are made to the ccgms.org website frequently to keep up with all the activities that are going on within (and sometimes outside) of the society.

January 12, 2025:

“First Tuesdays” – Updated with February class information

January 11, 2025:

“Workshop Classes” – replaced faceting image to new temporary one.

January 8, 2025:

“Officers & Chairs” – updated with numerous changes to make current.
“Who We Are” – add Rick Smith as new VP

Changes as of 1 Jan 2025:

1. Updated archives in “Members Only” with latest monthly Newsletter.

2. Updated “Home Page” with January information.

3. Added New Menu Item “Tips and Techniques for Rock Collecting with two new Pages, “Cataloging Your Mineral Collection” by Tom Toothman and Wayne Dodd and “Tools and Tips for Field Trips.

4. Added newsletter article (Finest Gem & Mineral Specimens – Part 7) by Tom Toothman to the archives in “Members Only”

5. Moved Workshop Contacts from “Lapidary Workshops” (public page) to “Members Only”>”Workshop Contacts” section (protected page).

6. Note: Fieldtrips are not advertised on the website since non-members are not eligible to attend. Members can sign-up and get direction information from the latest Newsletter. Emails with detailed information are also sent to members. Check your email and latest Newsletter.
