First Tuesday Class

Every month, CCGMS offers a free class to its members. These classes vary with a different topic each month. All have to do with the mission of CCGMS, which is bringing the study of rocks, minerals, gemstones, fossils, and the lapidary arts to the community. It is our hope that these classes will spark the creativity of the students and bring about further study.

To join this class, it is CCGMS policy that you must be a current member (up-to-date on your membership dues) and at least 16 years old. Typically, no walk-ins will be accepted. Instructors now determine the maximum number of students that they are comfortable teaching for their class, as some projects require more assistance than others.
